I don't have an exact answer but I have (probably) the same unit. Buggy software, clumsy web interface.
I use IP Cam Viewer Pro which is an android app..but.. I use Blue Stacks on my laptop (Dell XT3) and I can use/view my cameras with it. As far as playback, yes it does have record/playback but I haven't used it but all the options are there for searching, etc.
The great thing about Agent DVR is that it is completely free because it is freeware. The sad part is that it was created by a developer who went on to finer things and left the program lodged on a few high-use servers. It is now being passed around freeware websites, which means it is sometimes difficult to find a clean version. Guys, Thank you for the info. Now the problem that i have is that the DVR does not seem to have the hard drive indexed. When I try to search for old video the DVR does not show it there (it only shows that last 24 hours in the search window) but when I select to play the video for the last 24 hours it start playing and then it show video starting at 11/3/2012.
IP Cam Viewer Pro is a paid app but the author is fantastic in keeping up with the latest dvr's, cameras, etc.
